Activist Resources
Every day, multiple attacks on our democracy, rights and services occur. We know it can be difficult to know what you should do to stop the insanity. Battles on multiple fronts simultaneously feels overwhelming. You're just one individual trying to stay informed and keep up. However, working together in whatever ways we can helps push back the tide of assaults, propaganda and outright lies. Just keep taking the next step...and the next. A lot of us are walking with you.

Contact Congress
Let your Representative and Senators know your concerns. Call, email or visit their local office daily or whenever works for your schedule. For helpful hints, visit 5 Calls for information and sample call scripts.

Educate Yourself
Stay informed by following trusted media sources and experts in their fields. Trust your eyes, ears and memory when the lies from the administration escalate. Verify sources. Question motivations. Engage your critical thinking skills, common sense and empathy.

Share the Facts
Never before has our nation seen such prolific and hateful propaganda spewing from our highest offices. Call out the lies and back them up with facts.
We're angry, but we will need to heal as a nation when we regain control of our government. Keep that in mind when you're sharing facts.

Attend Protests
Peaceful rallies, marches, protests and boycotts are increasing in frequency and attendance. Join in when you can. You'll make new friends and the energy of people standing up together will help sustain you for the days ahead.

Run For Something
Change needs to happen at all levels of government--from school boards and town commissioners to state and and federal positions. You can be part of that change by running for a position or helping someone else do so. Check out the Run For Something website.

Recharge
The war to regain control of our democracy and fix the damage done will be a long one. You don't want to burn out. Take care of yourself and recharge as you need to. Spend time with family and friends. Engage in a hobby. Take walks, read a book or just watch a favorite show or movie.
Doing what you love will only reinforce why the fight is important--the stability of our freedoms and ability to pursue our lives, liberties and happiness with those who matter most.
