Broken links
If you are reporting a broken link, please begin your message with "Broken link" and identify which one.
Adding a link
If you are requesting we add a new link to a page/section, please begin your message with "Add link" and provide the section and link. Please let us know why you believe it would be helpful for those who follow Consent of the Governed (COTG) to have the information available to them.
To add a person/organization to our Integrity Wall, we will accept links to publicly available information only (e.g. news article, court filing, social media post, etc.) We will not share anyone's name/situation based on an email if it cannot be verified by other means.
Note: For our Activist Resources page, we will only post the national link and COTG followers can find a state/local chapter from there. However, if an organization is state/local only, we will consider adding a link once we've vetted it.
Reporting a link
We at COTG do our best to vet each link to ensure that it goes to a site that supports fighting all forms of anti-democracy in the United States. However, if we've made an error, please let us know and provide information and links to support your claim that the link does not meet the ideals of COTG.
Want to volunteer?
At this time, COTG does not expect to plan rallies, marches, protests or boycotts, although we will amplify them on social media. However, we can use some behind the scenes assistance. Below are some ideas for things we would love to add to our website.
1. If you like following Congress' actions, we need people to keep track of bills/resolutions introduced and status. This requires a bit of commitment on your part, but for legislative junkies, hopefully it will be fun. Contact us for more specifics.
2. If are an educator, we could use your expertise and experience in recommending websites, videos and reading materials for our hoped-for Constitution educational pages. We'd like to break it up into two sections; one for teenagers/adults and the other for younger age groups.
3. If you are a fired or retired federal worker or contractor, we'd love to feature two videos from you.
If you love(d) your work, tell people why and let your enthusiasm show! Our intent for the second video is to promote awareness of what the federal government has been doing for its citizens and begin creating another resource for students to see the variety of options for careers as they begin to plan for their own futures. For with a public service mentality, once we regain control of our government and protections, we can begin to bring back the joy of doing something important in civil service.
4. The Musk Mafia has deleted many of our relied-upon databases, research and public information. We do not yet know if there are backups somewhere within our government or not. However, we want to compile a comprehensive list for when we have trustworthy people to look for them. If there are any you believe are important to restore if we can, please contact us with the name of the agency, item name and whether or not it was searchable. We'll list them all on our Legacy page.
